About HCCA

HealthCare Computer Corp. of America (HCCA) provides unique and advanced marketing and strategic products to the managed care industry.

Since our founding in 1983, our aim within this dynamic industry has been to assist our client companies in their quest for knowledge, marketing success and profitability.

The HCCA Database is the repository of managed health care data and information for the Western U.S.

Through over 25 years of industry growth and expansion, HCCA has focused on collecting and disseminating information on HMOs, Medicare plans, Medicaid plans, Point-of Service plans, insured PPOs, managed care networks, MSOs, physician organizations, managed behavioral health organizations as well as numerous ancillary service plans and providers. and similar organizations in the Western U.S.

Based in Denver, Colorado, our focus for the last 25 years has been to observe the growth, indeed rapid expansion, and evolution of managed care organizations throughout the United States, but always with a focus in the West.

better known to all his friends , associates and collegues simply as Jim.

Jim passed away suddenly on July 1st, 2010 .

Jim started HCCA and was the Publisher and CEO.

For over 20 years Jim was the leading source of information in the Managed Care Industry as well as the Health Industry in Mountain States and Arizona.

Jim's newletters and timely emails kept everyone on top of healthcare in these markets.

Jim knew just about everyone in healthcare and from the wonderful responses HCCA and his family has received he was very well liked and thought of.

We miss him !
